The Lady Behind The Chair

Hey there! I'm Danielle, owner-operator and stylist here at Summit Salon. When I'm not at my studio making hair dreams come true, I'm chasing around (literally) my two little boys and two dogs with my fiance (my biggest fan and supporter).  I've been playing with hair since I was 8 years old. You could say it was a calling for me. Life is always too busy and there never seems to be enough time in the day. That's why my take on an average hair appointment is to add in all the extra relaxation possible. You'll leave my studio looking beautiful and feeling pampered.

My education began with studying cosmetology at the Aveda Institute DC 2009/2010. I worked for an Aveda salon in VA for 12 years. I've taken a multitude classes over the years to elevate my knowledge of the hair world. Classes include balayage, blonding, specialty reds/brunettes, corrective coloring, men's cuts, pixies, bobs, curly hair cutting/styling, and updos/bridal styling just to name a few. I have worked as an educator within my salon helping elevate newer stylists, teaching cuts, color, and styling.
