The Lady Behind The Chair

Hello there! I'm Danielle, owner-operator and stylist here at Summit Salon. When I'm not in the studio making hair dreams come true, I'm busy keeping my plants alive, drinking lots of coffee and hanging out with my two boys, two dogs and my amazing husband (who created most of the art work in my space). I've been playing with hair since I was eight years old—you could easily say this was my calling. In a world where life always feels a bit too busy, I believe a hair appointment shouldn't just be another chore. My passion is to infuse every service with as much extra relaxation and pampering as possible, so you leave my studio looking beautiful and feeling deeply restored.

My Journey & Education

My professional path began at the Aveda Institute DC (2009/2010), followed by 12 wonderful years styling at an Aveda salon in Virginia. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to continuous learning, mastering advanced techniques in balayage, blonding, specialty reds and brunettes, corrective color, and specialized cutting (including pixies, bobs, and curly hair). Sharing my passion is just as important to me as practicing it. Today, I also work as an educator, helping to elevate and mentor stylists.

A New Level of Wellness

To truly bridge the gap between beauty and holistic wellness, I have recently become certified in advanced head spa treatments. This specialized training allows me to bring you the ultimate in scalp health and relaxation—combining scientific scalp care with deeply restorative spa rituals. I am so incredibly excited to be a part of the Frederick, MD community. If you’re looking to elevate your salon experience, I can't wait to share great hair days, healing, and ultimate relaxation with you!

Danielle was absolutely amazing! She truly took her time throughout my appointment and made me feel like I was her top priority. I really appreciated her knowledge and expertise—she offered thoughtful suggestions on what would best accentuate my hair and features while still listening to what I wanted.
