The Lady Behind The Chair
Hey there! I'm Danielle, owner-operator and stylist here at Summit Salon. When I'm not in the studio making hair dreams come true I'm chasing (literally) my two boys and my two dogs around with my fiance (my biggest fan and supporter). I've been playing with hair since I was 8 years old. You could say it was a calling for me. Life is always too busy and there never seems to be enough time in the day. That's why my take on an average hair appointment is to add in all the extra relaxation possible. You'll leave my studio looking beautiful and feeling pampered.
My education began with studying cosmetology at the Aveda Institute DC 2009/2010. I worked for an Aveda salon in VA for 12 years. I've taken a multitude classes over the years to elevate my knowledge of the hair world. Classes include balayage, blonding, specialty reds/brunettes, corrective coloring, men's cuts, pixies, bobs, curly hair cutting/styling, and updos/bridal styling just to name a few. I have worked as an educator within my salon helping elevate newer stylists, teaching cuts, color, and styling.
I'm so excited to be joining the Frederick, MD community. I am the perfect stylist for you if you're looking to elevate your experience in the salon. I'll be sharing lots of great hair days, healing, wellness, and relaxation with you all!
Danielle far exceeds my expectations of a hair stylist. My time with he is relaxing and restorative and I leave feeling happy about my hair and my energy recharged. She has transitioned me from my natural color to "bleached" blonde and back again, fully educating me on the steps it'll take to achieve my desired result. If a stylist will turn you 5 shades lighter in one session- your hair will probably be fried and you should run! Her attention to detail is unmatched (be it her aromatherapy, consultation, and being open to new ideas). She is the hair queen!

Summit Experience
Each service is a custom holistic experience. It includes, thorough consultation, confirmation of pricing, aromatic shoulder and neck massage, hot towel treatment, relaxing scalp massage. Color services also include bond repair/deep conditioning, with a hand massage.
Consultation
All new color clients have to fill out the virtual consultation form prior to booking. We can also do an in-person consultation at the studio if that's preferred. This insures that we are on the same page and can book the correct amount of time.
